PCS believes that businesses, whatever their size, are part of their community and should consider helping people in need. Our company and employees show this commitment on both the local and national level, focusing our attention on assisting children, the poor, and others facing difficult circumstances. We do this in several different ways.
The company donated 30% of our net income to nonprofit organizations in 2007.
PCS gives out quarterly bonuses to our employees based on three areas of performance, one of which is community service. When calculating the bonus, this component makes up 25% of the total.
Just after Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, we sent several employees to the region to deliver supplies and assist in the relief effort. We are continuing to send aid and volunteers to help residents recover from Katrina and Rita. PCS is compensating employees who travel to the area by paying their regular salaries while they are away.
Many staff members volunteer significant time to a range of nonprofit programs and special short-term projects.
