We support many organizations, particularly in the Portland area, on an ongoing basis. These are just a few of them.
Friends of the Children
Friends of the Children is a national nonprofit headquartered in Portland and founded in 1993 by Duncan Campbell. The Portland chapter currently provides 270 of Portland's most vulnerable and at-risk children a loving, nurturing, and sustained relationship with a paid, professional adult mentor. The program selects children in kindergarten and makes a 13-year commitment to each child. Mentors (or Friends) spend at least four hours together one-on-one with each child every week to help them become healthy, productive members of the community.
CityTeam Ministries
CityTeam Ministries is a nonprofit organization that has served the poor and homeless of Portland for more than 100 years. The group provides life-saving food, emergency shelter, clothing, recovery programs, discipleship, and other essential care to the most disadvantaged individuals.
